By accessing or using the CyberSafe Academy website and services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.
2. Services Description
CyberSafe Academy provides online educational content related to cybersecurity basics for everyday users. Our courses include recorded video lessons, checklists, and email support. We make no guarantees regarding employment, income, or career outcomes.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Account and Enrollment
When you enroll in our courses:
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You agree not to share your account access with others
- You will notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
5. Course Access and Content
Upon enrollment, you receive access to course materials for personal, non-commercial use only. All content remains the intellectual property of CyberSafe Academy. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
6. Payment and Refunds
Course fees are due at the time of enrollment. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee:
- Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of enrollment
- Contact info@cybersafeacademy.ca to request a refund
- Refunds are processed within 10 business days
- After 14 days, all sales are final
7. Educational Disclaimers
No Employment or Income Guarantees: CyberSafe Academy provides educational content only. We make no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding:
- Employment opportunities or job placement
- Income, earnings, or financial results
- Career advancement or professional certification
- Specific outcomes from completing our courses
Any success depends on individual effort, circumstances, and factors beyond our control.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, CyberSafe Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the course.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
